Here is the recipe for the laundry soap. 3 bars Fels Naptha soap (5 1/2 oz size). 4 lbs Borax, 4 lbs Arm and Hammer Washing Soda, 4 lbs Arm and Hammer Baking Soda. Grate the bar soap. I used my Kitchenaid as the grater. Mix it all together and store in an airtight container. (2 gallon size). Now the extra scoop....It costs about $12.63 to make and that's 8 1/2 cents a load. It will make 16 pounds of soap. 150 full loads - TWO Tablespoons per load. If you have an HE front loader, dissolve 1-2 TBL in hot water and add to your machine as you would any other detergent. You can also use Ivory, Castile or Zote bar soap in place of the Fels Naptha. My sister has used almost all of her soap already and I have a huge dent in mine. It's great. LOVE the smell. You can also use vinegar in your rinse cycle. I hope this was worth the wait. And really check out Mary Jane's Farm!! I think you will really get into it!!Amy B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08316300779416669476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7754386920471876383.post-12547196018229325372011-03-15T13:18:01.327-05:002011-03-15T13:18:01.327-05:00I'm not familiar with the Mary Jane's Farm...I'm not familiar with the Mary Jane's Farm magazine, I'll have to look it up.
