I'm learning to make yarn on a drop spindle. This is made of 100% llama...Pele & Gallante. (not mine) I love that it is the same color as my weathered chair outside. |
....oh shoot your eyes were closed. Now this time keep your eyes wide open.... |
:-) Grandson Ryan is ready to go fishing in his new hat. |
Horehound and Elder flower drying on the kitchen table. I would like to try my hand at some horehound cough drops this year. |
Breezy is 5 months old. It's 90 degrees outside. She's laying in the sunbeam over the top of the air conditioning vent. Life is good if you're a dog in our house! |

ReplyDeleteAdorable photos of your grandson! My dog has been laying on the cool floor too!
ReplyDeleteYour spinning looks wonderful; love the color. One of my girls and I try our hand at it from time to time, but are rather unsuccessful.
ReplyDeleteHope that handsome boy enjoyed fishing!

ReplyDeleteI have a drop spindle too...I look at it every once in awhile! LOL!!
We just bought nine Icelandic sheep. We will have black, chocolate brown, cream, and gray wool. My mom's friend is a spinner but spinning wheels aren't cheap, may just have to learn how to use a drop spindle.
ReplyDeleteKindred spirit here : ) I absolutely love spinning on a drop spindle. Wouldn't use a wheel if you gave me one.
ReplyDeleteWell...maybe if you gave me one : )
Dr Momi! Long time no see! Great pictures as usual, and I love Ryan's hat!
