Wonderful post of the arrival of spring!
We had a low of 32 last night up here in northern MN. Skim ice on the pond this morning. Our trees are only in the bud stage, not flowered out. Guess that's a good thing as we're forecast temps down as low as 22 for this coming week. Eeeek!
love that sweet boy w/ his bait! :)
Forsythia and daffodils a favorite spring sighting. It is a cold wet Sunday here in Maine, frost and possible snow for the coming week. I'm glad I resisted the temptation of planting my peas. A boy and a worm, is there anything cuter? Greetings from Maine, Julie.
Them worms are good eatin, if you can get past the slim!
No doubt about it now : ) Still waiting on my forsythia.
Love the little chicks and yes even the older one holding that - ew - worm! sandie
We've seen those same signs here in northern Virginia. But unfortunately, like you Jack Frost may pay us a visit tonight as well. I guess I need to turn the heat back on.
We've had the air on here today, it was so muggy and hot... but clear as a bell outside tonight, with the stars shining gloriously. Have not started chicks yet, but am going to soon!
Ah spring! Like Mama Pea said, it got down to 32 here last night again so I'm LOVIN' your pictures! I do have to say the hens all found a GIANT worm in the yard a couple days ago...and your picture of boys and worms reminded me of it. :)
Awwww, boys and worms go together like peanut butter and jelly. can't wait for the first grasshopper to be put on my shoulder or in my pocket by the grand kids---thanks for the info about the fish, now off to get ready, another long day at the VA hospital
Lots going on at Redtail Ridge! Love your photos today, Dr Momi. Spring has sprung.
All sure signs of spring! LOVE the boy and his worm! :)
MOM, spring is here... the worms are out,and its fishing time..
Spring certainly has arrived. Hope your apricots don't get frozen.
I enjoyed your photos, especially the boy & worm - no, maybe the flowers cuz they are spring, no ... (see I liked them all!). Spring seems to be a bit early here in northcentral NoDak too. Have a great week.
