Sunday In Pictures

I have 5 peaches on my young tree.
Woo-Hoo (Hey this is not easy in zone  4 3 with a zone 5 peach)

Geraniums and Double White Petunias ready for the 4th.
Remember how the geraniums started out?
http://homesteadingatredtailridge.blogspot.com/2011/02/planting-geraniums.html

I planted double the onions from last year.
We bought a bagger with our new lawn mower,
So, this is the first year I'm trying lawn clipping mulch.
So far I love it.

Knee high by the 4th of July
Rick said he could "hear the corn growing" yesterday.
(pay no attention to the weeds)

Hawk!

......at least that's what I thought about 100 times after we put up a
mallard duck windsock.  It's wings flutter like he's coming in for a  landing.
 Guess I'm a little hawk jumpy :-)

I can't believe you haven't mentioned the peaches until now!!!! I have been thinking of getting a peach tree - we are in zone 5ish. All I know is when my apple trees that I planted 5 years ago get their first BUD, I am posting it. I love peaches and just finished eating some with yogurt and a little whipped topping. YUM
