I KNOW! NO SNOW!!! It's so weird. We even have a Northern Harrier (also called a Marsh Hawk) coming around our place in Ohio. It's so mild and wet here right now. They're supposed to be a lot farther south in December. They summer north of here and winter south of here. Never HERE!!!
Wisconsin, you say! Oh, DUH! You haven't paid your snow tax yet, have you? And while I'm at it, isn't your governor about to tax free speech? If I don't hear from you soon, I guess I'll know why! I love the photos of your home as you get ready for Christmas. There's no tax on decorating yet, is there? Please forgive me for inserting a political comedy. You gotta laugh, though. OK. I'll be good now. After all, Christmas is coming!!!
I remember last year at this time we were freezing and buried in snow here in MO. I am enjoying the warmth, and might I add that according to the local forecasters, the average weather right now! I just hope it doesn't impact spring! Like winter starts late so spring doesn't come!

Looks like northern Michigan!
Wow, your grass is even still green! You know what *they* say, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it! ;-)
wow oh wow! that's some mild weather! almost looks like texas right now! :)
We're in Iowa and it's 51 and raining- at 5:30 pm in December! Unheard of!!
Judy
Weird. We had snow a little over a week ago, and I'm in Arkansas!
pattib....no snow up there either? Weird weather.
Candy C. ....after about 3 days without freezing, the grass just "perked up"!
Tex....I'm sure eventually the temps will plunge here, but ya, it does look like your Texas pics right now!
fullfreezer....unheard of for you and me! Even if we didn't have snow, those puddles would be ice in a normal year. :-)
At this rate, we can put away the snowblower and get out the lawnmower!!
I agree - hardly feels like Christmas.
It's a good thing you're not using ice blocks from the pond to keep your winter food fresh!
Carolyn Renee....snow in Arkansas and none here. It's just not right :-)
Lisa....with how green the lawn is it seems like we might need to get out the lawnmower!
Dicky Bird....a nice gentle snowfall would put everyone in a Christmassy mood!
Jody....LOL,good point!
My husband's viewpoint....it's saving us money in firewood and electricity to run the fans :-)
Well if there's any threat of snow here I'll tell it to head your way...
ugg! I know how you feel! I don't ever expect snow here but we are in the 70's and wearing shorts! We ran the AC last night..sigh.
what a beautiful home... hoping it gets a blanket of snow soon
Our landscape looks just the same as yours . . . and we're in northern-most Minnesota! We had rain all day yesterday. Not right, nope, just not right!

I just adore your house!
Your weather is a lot like ours here in Kentucky right now. Wet.

I'm OK with no snow, but we may get some on Monday and/or Tuesday. I love the water droplet photo (but I'm sure you'll have snow photos soon!)
