Learning from square one how to do things from scratch. Canning, recipes, medicinal herbs, gardening, farmette animals, and lots of family mixed in!
I have a couple of those guys who try to get at my feeder also. I took a metal clothes hanger and straightened it out. One end I bent around the limb and the other end made a circle and used about a foot of thin string to connect to my feeder. They can't climb down that. My feeder is homemade from a plastic peanut butter container.
So far he is the only squirrel other than Frisky to cross the driveway. He hasn't been too much of a problem yet. Who knows, I may have to squirrel proof the feeder yet John!
